This past weekend was filled with basketball games, family bonding, and celebrating Easter Sunday. My little brother is an avid basketball player. He plays AAU basketball and his team had a tournament over the weekend. These tournaments typically consume your entire day but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love being able to watch my brother play basketball and also support him while he does something he loves. We are some of the loudest cheerleaders while he is on the court. His team won 2 out of the 3 games in the tournament, placing them in 3rd.
The next day we went to church and had an awesome Easter Sunday. After church I spent time with my family and just lived in the moment. My brother taught me how to spin around on his hoverboard (those things take skill to ride and he is a beast) and we watched hilarious videos of people running track and failing miserably. My dad, step-mom and I shared endless laughs, mostly stemming from the daily conversation we have based on what I do and don’t eat. Whenever I am home he asks me if I want something to eat like a barbecue sandwich and I remind him that I don’t eat pork. He will then ask me if I want some pork chops or something. I give him the most confused look because we both know that is still pork and then we all start laughing. This conversation happens every time I go home but I love it. He just wants to make sure his daughter isn’t hungry and it’s appreciated. My dad and I have not always been close but over the past two years our relationship has grown so much. It makes my heart happy to be able to laugh and spend quality time with him.

Sunday was a beautiful day but it was rainy and a little chilly. I decided to pair a cream tank with blush trousers (such a steal from HM) and nude sandals. My camel trench coat came in handy while walking to and from the car.
